Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program in Marinette County

In the fall of 2016, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County partnered with Marinette County to establish a CASA child advocacy program. Since the fall of 2016 when the program began, 57 CASA volunteers have advocated on behalf of 98 children.

A CASA volunteer visits with the child on a regular basis and submits monthly reports to the judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future.

A CASA volunteer is very often the only consistent adult presence in the life of a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in foster care, find a safe and permanent home, and do better in school!

Your gift helps support the Marinette County CASA Program and the work we do to recruit, train and support CASA volunteers to provide critical child advocacy. A donation in the amount of $1,800 provides an abused and/or neglected child with CASA volunteer advocacy for one year. A $25 donation provides one hour of CASA child advocacy.

Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children in the most need!

Donations made by check are payable to CASA of Brown County and mailed to:
