Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a volunteer based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system until they are safe and thriving in permanent homes.
Your gift today helps to provide court appointed CASA volunteers to advocate for the most vulnerable children in our community.
A CASA volunteer meets with the child regularly and submits a monthly report to the judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future.
A CASA volunteer is very often the only consistent adult in the life of an abused or neglected child. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in foster care, find a safe and permanent home and do better in school!
In 2021 alone, 133 CASA volunteers advocated for 228 children, making their lives safer and their futures brighter!
Thank you for your gift to sustain the work we do to recruit, train and support citizen volunteers to serve as the "eyes and ears of the court" and advocate on behalf of children in need of critical advocacy.
Together, we are changing stories!
