Our work to provide CASA volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children continues. A donation of $1,800 provides a child with a CASA volunteer for one year.

For many years, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County has enjoyed hosting the “Classic for Kids” Golf Outing. It is always a beautiful day on the links and a wonderful opportunity for us to highlight the lasting impact our CASA volunteers make on the lives of children most in need in our community, who need us now more than ever.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s golf outing due to ongoing safety concerns for our participants and volunteers related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While we are disappointed that we won’t have the chance to gather in person, our critical work to advocate for abused and neglected children under court protection continues. Last year alone, 142 CASA volunteers advocated for 240 children in Brown County, making their lives safer and their futures brighter.

Statistics show that incidents of child abuse and neglect increase during times of stress. We anticipate the need for CASA volunteer advocacy to increase in the second half of the year. One caring, consistent adult helps to build resiliency and hope for a child who has experienced adversity that no child should have to endure.

Although we won’t be with you on the golf course in August, we invite you to consider supporting CASA of Brown County by joining our “Circle of Champions" today.

Every contribution helps to sustain our life-changing mission. Your generosity is always appreciated, especially during this challenging time. Together, we are changing stories!
