Your steady support helps us prepare for challenges and plan for the future!
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a volunteer based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system until they are safe and thriving in permanent homes.
Your monthly investment helps to sustain our critical work to recruit, train and support CASA volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in need of a strong voice.
A total gift of $1,800 provides an abused and/or neglected child with CASA volunteer advocacy for one year.
CASA volunteers visit with the child regularly and submit a monthly report to the judge to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future.
For many of the children we serve, their CASA volunteer is the ONLY consistent adult presence in their life. One caring adult makes the difference and helps to build resiliency and hope for a brighter future.
We know that a child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in the foster care system, find a safe and permanent home and do better in school!
Thank you for being a champion for the children who need us most in our community!
