Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a volunteer based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system until they are thriving in a safe and permanent home.
Your gift today will help to provide CASA volunteers to advocate for the most vulnerable children in Brown County.
A CASA volunteer meets with the child regularly and submits a monthly report to the judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future.
A CASA volunteer is very often the only consistent adult in the life of an abused or neglected child. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in foster care, find a safe and permanent home and do better in school!
In 2018 alone, 145 CASA volunteers advocated for 281 children, making their lives safer and their futures brighter!
Your gift sustains the work we do to recruit, train and support citizen volunteers to serve as the "eyes and ears of the court" and advocate on behalf of children in great need in our community.
Your contribution makes a lasting impact! Thank you!
